We are not a school. We are not a college. We are not going to educate you. We are, however, going to inspire, spark and stimulate your inner desire to be an entrepreneur, a creator, a builder, a filmmaker, a chef, a writer, a farmer, a rancher, a welder, a crafter, an artist, a baker, a veterinarian, an actor, a mechanic, a radio talk show host, a publisher, a marketer, and even a real estate flipper or whatever your heart yearns for!
We are also creating our own real life TV show series, "American Pioneers" where we'll teach you to utilize even the slightest of skills and talents that you have to feel the power of independence. We are a boot camp for people who want to excel in life and are tired of being told that they will never be a success at anything unless they have a degree. While living on our beautiful ranch in Stephenville, Texas, the cowboy capital of the world, we have discovered our own style of homesteading, and our workshops and retreats will be an introduction to our many talents which we will share with you.

We have discovered the health benefits of regenerative, grass-fed beef and lamb, and growing everything possible organically, and are now ready to share our experience to give you a jump start on what it takes to start your own homesteading enterprise and become independent.
The concept for this program is born from the necessity to help multiple generations, from the young to the young at heart to learn the art of having a work ethic and how to be successful at anything they put their minds to!
The only way to really teach a person is to put them in a real life situation, and the best way to learn how to have a work ethic is to either start your own business or be placed in the middle of a business that has a multitude of opportunities.
Forty years ago, David and Dianne Linderman created and managed an extremely successful program helping kids in Oregon doing this very thing, and they are excited to offer this opportunity in a more expansive format.
Our 100-acre American Pioneer Ranch in Hico, Texas, and our 60-acre Great American Lone Star Ranch in Stephenville, Texas—located just 8 miles apart—are the perfect settings for our exciting new program. These are real, working ranches and serve as the home base for The Great American Entertainment Company.
With 14 unique attractions traveling across America, Great American brings the vital story of agriculture to life in a fun and entertaining way.

It doesn't matter if you've never done anything like it before, this is where the beginners begin. You will walk away enlightened and inspired.
Our first retreat will be the American Pioneer Ranch Homesteading Camp and Adventure. It is a 5-day Retreat & Workshop. Cost is $4,500 per person. Participants must be over the age of 18, although kids as young as 10 can participate as long as they are accompanied by a parent. Everything is included once you arrive at American Pioneer Ranch.
Just bring your boots and a good attitude, and you will have the adventure of a lifetime!

Our lives revolve around Christian principles.
Three incredible meals including dessert are served each day, made from farm-to-table recipes from Dianne Linderman's cookbooks. You have the option to cook alongside her and learn to make them yourself! Our lodging and beautiful rooms are not bunk-house style, they are Hallmark movie style with queen-size beds—warm and cozy. Rooms will be shared. All instruction, use of equipment, housing and food is included. Your adventure awaits!
We are also looking for individuals or companies that may want to sponsor a student in this program. Graduates will be informed, inspired, excited and eager to see all possibilities for the future. Committed and full of enthusiasm, some may want to immediately start their own businesses, homesteads, or backyard farms! This program is starting in April 2025.
